Anatoly Karpov was hospitalized in Moscow

The 12th world chess champion, and now a deputy of the State Duma, was urgently hospitalized with a traumatic brain injury and a leg injury. According to the latest information, Anatoly Karpov fell unsuccessfully and hit the paving stones hard.

“Anatoly Karpov was taken to one of the clinics of the capital as a result of an injury. He is provided with all necessary medical care. The injury is of a domestic nature,” – the press service of “United Russia” said in a statement.
