Carlsen is the new face of Chess.com

Chess.com bought the Play Magnus Group, a leader in chess education. The Play Magnus Group brings together popular brands such as the Meltwater Champions Chess Tour tournament series, the Chessable chess learning website, the Chess24 gaming platform, the AimChess chess learning website, the Play Magnus and Magnus Academy apps, Everyman Chess, New In magazine Chess, the iChess.net online store and Simon Williams’ GingerGM website.

As part of the deal to acquire the Play Magnus Group, Magnus Carlsen signed a contract to represent Chess.com. He will regularly compete in Chess.com tournaments.
