Kosteniuk was distracted from the game by the photographer

At the World Blitz Championship in Kazakhstan, the photographer was shooting very close, thereby distracting Kosteniuk during the game. Alexandra lost the game and filed an appeal.

Alexandra Kosteniuk: “Thanks to the organizers and congratulations to the winners! I enjoyed the competition until one non-professional photographer ruined my finish. I hope FIDE will do something, and such actions that interfere with the players will not be allowed in the future.”
