New information about the condition of the hospitalized Karpov became known

Member of the Supervisory Board of the Chess Federation Of Russia Albert Stepanyan spoke about the state of health of the 12th World Chess champion Anatoly Karpov.

“There is no new information yet. The indicators are normal, Anatoly has regained consciousness, everything is fine, we are on the mend. It is unlikely that he will be discharged today, we will watch,”- Stepanyan said.

On October 31, Karpov learned that the famous chess player was found unconscious on Saturday. There was information in the press about the attack on Karpov, as well as about the alcoholic intoxication of Anatoly Evgenievich. However, this was later denied by Karpov’s daughter, who stated about the domestic nature of the injuries.
