Russian grandmaster Ian Nepomniachtchi commented on the results of the Fischer World Chess Championship that ended in Reykjavik.

“It is hardly possible to find logic in the parties of Armageddon. But at the same time, this has its own logic. I hope to see more Fischer chess tournaments in the future. Congratulations to Hikaru Nakamura!” – wrote Nepomniachtchi on social networks.

Yesterday Nepomniachtchi drew the final match with Nakamura 2-2, but then lost in Armageddon.
