Teimour Radjabov believes that rapid and blitz are more interesting than classical chess

Azerbaijani grandmaster Teimour Radjabov spoke about the entertainment of blitz, rapid and classical chess.

“I have already played a lot of places and won various tournaments. Commercial classic tournaments are losing their entertainment, I am interested in playing in those where you can get the titles of world champion, World Cup winner, Olympic chess medals, so I will focus on them for now. I think it’s time for chess tournaments to switch to the format of rapid chess and blitz,” Radjabov said.
