Alexandr Fier won the Brazilian Chess Championship

The national championship of the country among men has ended in Recife (Brazil). 132 players and 5 grandmasters participated in the competitions with a prize fund of R$ 36,000. The victory was won by grandmaster Alexandr Fier. Yago Santiago is in second place. On the third – Roberto Molina.
