Azer Mirzoev won the 11th Beirut Open International Chess Championship — 2022 tournament in Lebanon

The international tournament “11th Beirut International Open — Chess Championship — 2022”, held from November 12 to 19 in Beirut (Lebanon), has ended. 100 players, including 8 grandmasters, took part in the tournament with a prize fund of about $ 6000. According to the results of 9 rounds, Azerbaijani grandmaster Azer Mirzoev won. In second place is Shahin Lorparizangeneh. On the third – Abdelrahman Hesham.

1-2. A. Mirzoev (Azerbaijan), Sh. Lorparizangeneh (Iran) – 8 out of 9;
3-5. H. Abdelrahman (Egypt), M. Nikolov (Bulgaria), A. Kosten (France) by 7.
