Candidates tournament – group B. The result of the fifth game day
The second part of the Candidates Tournament in Khiva (Uzbekistan) continues. The composition of the 1/4 finals: A. Goryachkina, A. Kosteniuk, E. Lagno and Tan Zhongyi. The winner of the semi-finals will face Lei Tingjie in the final.
Tan Zhongyi won the tie-break against E. Lagno with a score of 4.5:3.5 and advanced to the semifinals, where she will meet with A. Goryachkina.
