Ivan Schitco and Vincent Tsay won the 2023 New York Winter Invitational

The 2023 New York Winter Invitational – 2 tournaments with the norm of an international grandmaster — has ended in New York (USA). 10 chess players and 3 grandmasters participated in each group. Moldovan grandmaster Ivan Schitco won in group “A”. Gergely Kantor is in second place. On the third – Niko Chasin.

In group “B”, the winner was the American FIDE master Vincent Tsai. Oliver Barbosa is in second place. On the third – Gabor Nagy.
