The Speed Chess Championship continues on the Chess.com platform, the playoff stage of an online tournament. In the 1/4 match, Nihal Sarin defeated Ding Liren with a score of 17.0 – 9.0
The next match will take place on December 12, in which Hikaru Nakamura and Levon Aronian will fight.
Dates: from November 21 to December 16
System: two participants play matches between themselves: an hour and a half with a 5+1 control, one hour with a 3+1 control and thirty minutes with a 1+1 control. In case of a tie in regular time, the opponents play four additional games with a 1+1 time control. The player with the most points advances to the next round
