Now do everything the opposite of what was said. Your opponent won't be able to handle the antifragility and you will crush them every time.
can the castle jump over the king then?
Extremely helpful because Andrea explains each rule in a way that makes you go, "Oh, that totally makes sense."
Funnny how in modern chess grandmasters break all these rules. King in the middle, pushing Kingside pawns etc. Harry to h4 is popular.
Found this channel a couple days ago, I've loved chess for over 40 years, just don't have ppl to play with
8:18 take the bishop while checking the king to grab both bishop and a pawn godammit ! 😂
I know, i know, it's done for demonstration but it hurts.
This is really helpful, thanks!
So helpful – thanks 🙂
This was so helpful! Makes me want to jump back into chess.
Nice! Thanks Andrea! 👏🏼🙏👍🏼😎
Great tutorial for me. This gives me a nice set of checkboxes to work through as a new player.
You are so freaking adorable. Great advice.
Love her voice…
What chess game is that. Anyone
"Do not push kingside pawns"
laughs in closed King's Indian attack/defense
i feel like i need a chess board
i am going to try :)))
I’m dusting off the cobwebs for myself and teaching my 8 year old at the moment. Thanks for the tips
SSSSOOOOO CUTE your VOICE 😊❤
Perfect tutorial, she has solid foundation, no wonder she is that good.
never thought i would be touching myself while learning chess
"pawn undeafended" LOL. The rook is behind it, and if the rook takes the piece that killed the pawn and if the rook will be killed the bishop is right there lol.
Nice refresher on the basics.
About time. I watch these guys play but have no idea what they are planning and why. Nice breakdown.
Thankyou
I'm 1/3 through the vid and it's already the most helpful chess lesson I've ever had. Just discovered you today, love it, thanks a ton!
Your amazing 🤩
This video made me subscribe. So many things I was doing wrong thank you

So a piece being closed is when it’s blocked by it’s own pieces and therefore can’t move, correct?
A piece being open is when it is not blocked by it’s own pieces and can therefore move, correct ?
Bishop better to move in open positions and Knight better to move in closed positions.
I am a beginner and I’m having trouble understanding what a double pawn position looks like. Could you explain in more detail?
Thank you
Girls rule
Aww! I love it!!!This is an awesome rules' collection! Never could play with my friends with a nice hope of a victory!! <3
Wanted to ask a big fat question 'bout my grandpa and his tips or no-tips game:
So he starts with one (definitely wild horse!) knight but he doesn't care! and he kills the king with the second one 0_O never could get his method! What's so secretly cool and incredibly possible in that strategic method? Never moves any other piece! So tell me how does he magically win anybody young/old/experienced every time? No-no-no, they don't feel any pity towards him – since they mostly hate losing their money!
Rule #11: If you're playing against a GM/SGM just quit…
Rule number 4 also applies to a man's genitals
I don't want to be predictable so I'm going to do the opposite of what Andrea is saying.
Andrea: Don't bring out your Queen early in the game!
Scandinavian defense players: bruh
I love your voice. Sexy voide. Ahm ahm 😔
Andrea sounds almost normal when you play this at .75x speed.
I love you!
I am an amateur player, at least I learned something new. Thank you Botez!!
Check out CHESS VIBES if you are between 600-1400 . Most underrated channel around.
She is good but if you are looking for other channels try CHESS VIBES. We all have a few so I thought I would promote his as it really helped
Nice and nice face
I am not a great player but love Chess. Why is it I am always much weaker when I play as black?
I like playing chess since my childhood, but when I've heard you voice to explain chess stuff, I love playing chess.
