great tips for beginner. I finally started to win games
I just realised Andrea sounds like DW from "Arthur"
Andrea: Dont bring out your Queen in the opening
Skandinavian defense: sad opening noises
so we see Andrea starting here own chess course they grow up so fast
8:18 Is that a bissshopppah… hanging or I'm just happy to see you?
Thanks Andrea really useful ❤️
Is it me or are the Botez sisters's mannerisms really similar when they are serious and focused? Watching Andrea here feels like watching Alexandra. I mean they're sisters of course, but it's still a bit eerie.
What does the horsey do 🙂
wifey mat
This is actually the best short beginner vid i've seen so far. It's for ACTUAL beginners and don't go in deep about all kinds of spesific gambits and opening, before covering the fundamentals. Very nais 10/10
Hey Andrea!! Thanks for making this video. It seems really basic but really helps some of the audience (incl myself) who are beginners. I also have some other people I know who are just starting to play chess and think this would be great for them to watch.
It's a really useful video to me~
Thankyou so much!! It really helpful!
I am very poor in English am didn't understand 😔 anything but every time am come here for see here face 😂
When Alex first started bringing Andrea on the channel, she didn't have a raspy voice. What happened? Damage via yelling? I actually like the rasp, but it's strange how it changed in a short amount of time
Who's here after watching Queen's gambit?
Show this to Alexandra, she will rise her skills up and one day maybe she will be able to make equal game against Bartosh. Just kidding, love you all
If you watch it in 1.25x speed then it sounds normal
take your thumbnail from something in your vid, imo
in a closed position you can jump your knight around but when black hangs a Bishop you don't take it?
Now that's an educational video. Loved it.
She look like SSniperwolf do
Just wondering are the botez sisters family originally come from romania ? Since the name it's really common there?
I can't stand her voice
This is a legitimately good video.
thx
Great tips! Thanks🔥
Awesome advice I don't see anyone else doing.

Her vocal frequency is so unique . Soothing to hear but also too loud at some points .
you know what i love you 🙂
Thanks for the video it was great but I do have a question, when is it important to learn proper openings theory? I'm around 700 and I feel a little lost besides knowing I need my pieces developed and not create weakness's and castle. Would you say 1000-1200? Love the necklace btw Vivienne westwood goes crazy!
*Everyone talking about chess
*Me squinting at the screen: "is that a Vivienne westwood pearl necklace?"
We couldn't help but notice, that when the ever effervescent and always adorable Andrea is teaching, attendance always goes way up. 💚 – j q t –
Thank you video😁👍
Don't take free bishops instead maneuver your knight to a opposite color square so that bishop can't take your knight @8:17
I like your voice in this video and I like it's not a bit from stream as well. Thanks!
For all the people that keep raising the exceptions to the rule. You can't learn the exceptions if you don't know the basics, everything she mentioned is correct and will help all people to improve their chess.
Wow, this was awesome.
this was extremely helpful, made me realize how flawed i've been playing

Andrea: don't push kingside pawns
Also Andrea: plays King's Indian
Rule #11. Forget Rules 1-10 and play bongcloud
This is all good advice, but beginners only really need to know 1 thing: DO NOT HANG YOUR PIECES! If I play a beginner in chess all I need to do is play "normal moves" without doing anything too serious, and just wait for them to hang a piece.

Step 1: never play against Bartosh B)
H3 is an excellent move😂😂😂
She has such a nice voice
This was crazy informative ngl 😅
This is actually a great video for me. I'm writing these down with notes 🙂
My problem is that I just can't really castle too early on, because I usually block in my bishop with pawns so I can't castle unless I move my bishop the wrong way, or I do some other dumb stuff that just ruins my whole game lol
