12-Year-Old Chess Prodigy Thought I’d Be Easy…
11.04.2023
Whilst in New York City I played 12-year-old chess master Tani, who has beaten people such as Hikaru, Gothamchess and Botez. He is a Fide Master right now but has the strength of a much higher rated player. Read about Tani’s story here: Hope you enjoy this video!

I love Tani
you are still wonderfull, even if you loose
How didnt she see Nxd5 it seemed like the most clear cut solid move ayayay
Soon to be a GM? Sorry, doesn’t work that way. Anna is a terrible loser btw.
Take a video about this , The world is now ruled by one community of people, the world Satanic elite, you can also call them the committee to meet the Antichrist and prevent the 2nd coming of Jesus, Trump called them the deep state, at the moment it consists of about 10,000 people, the main ones there are Rockefellers, Rothschilds, Windsors, Baruchs, they, their ancestors, descendants and other people who enter there have the mark of Lucifer, which, if they bring the antichrist and do not allow the 2nd coming, they will receive eternal life after the x hour, and the rest of humanity, for all the time that they have lived, they won't get anything, so all people should know about the existence of a world government (Jesus who was a The Prophet of God, not God.God will send Jesus as a reward to humanity, if humanity deserves it, for this it is necessary to fight Lucifer and his elite)
Why not Nxd5 after Qb6? 2:42
One of the worst handshakes I have ever witnessed
he can’t be a GM
If you don't study the books, you won't be a GM. I hope he is reading theory everyday, because you can't gain lifetime experience by just playing, you need to split it very carefully.
why is he playing the black pieces doe?
I always want to analyze Anna's games after watching them. Seeing that bar go up and down always makes me curious.
Why a future grand master didn't see Qh4 at 1:52? If g3 to block, then Nxg3, hxN and black wins rook, etc. Any other move loses equally.
The engine had Anna winning… What was the move she needed to make?
Anna needs to start being more competitive
Tani vs pia vid coming soon?
The young Kid had extremly Fun! I hope he will be GM soon!
The kid is great.
No PGN in description or anywhere? Why?
This woman is so beautiful and intelligent and cheerful. God bless her
Great game, very fun to watch!
That was a brilliant move you did on knight f6 Anna!
Nice game 🙂
To anyone wondering why the eval bar skyrocketed at 2:40, here is why:
If you put it into an engine (I did), Nxd5 wins because it attacks the queen on b6 along with the bishop on b4. Because the d5 pawn was defending the knight, after the black queen moves, the knight on e4 has only 1 defender meanwhile the white bishop and queen are attacking it. Therefore, white will win a piece. Hope this helped!
Wow Tani congrats
Fantastic game.
Hope you reach GM soon
All the best kid
At 6:50 your queen G4 than G7 covered by the knight and you win ^^
Can someone explain why at 2:41 the computer really favoured Anna?
2:40 anna missed nxd5, I think this was the crux of the game. Very impressive kid though
Pia so coot
he's pretty good, but I am not so sure he will make GM, he was losing badly for nearly all of the game, Anna just made a blunder at the very end.
Is using a program like Chessable the best way to learn these opening theory lines “30 Moves Deep”?
Missing nxd5 at 2:45 hurt 😢 good game though!!
this video gives me faith in the future of humanity. two people playing a game, loving every moment. truly beautiful
"in chess you don't fist bump" this should be a rule
2:40 can anyone explain to us mere mortals why queen b6 was a huge blunder? I saw the engine, but two masters missed it so I’m sure I can’t figure it out.
Haha I love how he share his thoughts! It feels like an adventure and he get happy when he come up with a move in the head 😀
The title should have been “I got smoked by a 12 year old” 😂
QUESTION! @ 2:41 would Nc3xd5 been the best move? i'm trying to find out if that causes any potential problems, but it just looks like a free pawn with an attack on the black queen as well? i'm only 670 elo btw so please excuse the lack of awareness if incorrect 🙂
Knight f3, king takes, queen h4 check, queen d4. LOL
Tani is such a nice kid and a beast at the same time. His best element of chess is his trash talking. I bought your book Tani!
Can someone tell me why she didn't play night E7 forcing a check and taking the bishop?
Shouldn't be talking to minors.
I kept seeing your name around other people I’ve been watching but this came with enough time to sit and enjoy and I’m definitely subscribing I love your vibe while you play. You talk through the game and don’t gatekeep your playing. As a beginner searching for teachers I love that!
How the hell did you miss Nxd5??? I mean it's not 1min game, you had 3:40 on the clock.
He´s good, but he also trashtalked you in loosing some time
Take knight e4 at4:45? Why not?
🙂 I think we all knew the outcome. both good people. great content
8:17 that was painful to watch
white : how much opening theory do you know..
black : a lot
white : i resign
Brooo He looks like draymond green
In case you're wondering why the eval bar went crazy at 2:45, it was because of Nxd5, which is not just a free pawn but also a fork.
