Who's making the production decision to switch from the great view with the eval bar/players/commentators to the terrible view of just the board? How does this make any sense? I'll never get it. Magnus losing to Alireza. I was watching the game and thought at the critical juncture – "He just lost a piece …but wait, he can win it back with a check." Magnus missed the check! I'm not bragging – just astounded that Magnus would miss it.

Again, flipping back and forth blazingly fast, moves barely corresponding to words spoken – I really don't understand why this production must treat all of it's viewers as super GMs with incredible visualization? You have so much to learn from Norwegian TV coverage of these tournaments. Not the fact that they exclusively focus on Magnus – but the fact that they focus on that specific moment, where the analysis board is in tune with what is said. It is dead simple – this is how you address viewers of all ages and skill levels.
