In an earlier interview, former World Chess Champion Bobby Fischer said that women are terrible chess players, should be kept out of intellectual affairs and stay at home cleaning. In this interview from 1972, shortly before his World Championship against Boris Spassky, he seems to have changed his opinion somewhat.

It would've been more respectable that he recognized his previous position on this topic was completely diametrically opposite to this modern sunny disposition regarding the gender of chess players.

That's a bit disturbing to see in 2024… that they've been pushing this sexist nonsense since the 70s, and from being into the transsexual fun type stuff, it shocks me that they transition to avoid being gay… I'm sure it's different and varies from case to case, but as a whole… it's jarring to deal with someone claiming to be woman without the sex as when men and women mature their secondary sex traits kick in as they go into puberty… and that's where the contention comes into play, i feel adults have the freedom to choose, but the transitioning at younger ages is being pushed without the understanding that people should mature into their secondary sexual traits before being peer pressured into this irreversible trend of transgenderism… sorry for my rant, it's just feels like the left or lgbt are purposely playing into the fears of right wingers… and that sets their cause back years.
