hello anna , i´m not a chess player and started to see your videos today . i´m from portugal and my dad used to play those opening and already see other friends play like that too
I am a < 800 newish player and starting to win with the cow. Find players tend to rush my position a bit. 😮 find I do better if I get to complete the cow.
Ah yes, she played the cow horns attack, very nice attack from her.
I would never use that as white, you give up your advatage of being white – tempo.
Thank you anna for sharing your new opening with us, I've been playing it and scraping my opponents with it..
i destroyed cow ooening with my discovered opening… with any power also. stockfish with my opening plays with another stockfish with cow opening. look at the moves please mam:

How about the Heffer
How ist the cow defense? Playing the same moves with the black pieces.
Make a milk variation
I am interested to see your mom to play with u with this
Now I understand why you would not be a grandmaster like your mother.
I've been using this opening modified and much stronger for well over a year Anna.
You didn't invent anything here.
I'm around 1650 and when I discovered this opening it helped me blast through the 1200-1300 rankings over the past year to 1650.
Beat my first 1736 last night and I'm sure modified versions of this will take me up to around 2000 in rank.
I however dont see the specific opening you showed as being the strong, and could point out some weaknesses: for example you're not using your outside pawns to create a defense for enemies bishop displacement to attack against king/queen, especially since this opening relies on opening your centre on both sides of King and Queen.
Very cool you discovered it though, you most certainly didn't invent it and neither were you the first 😉
if you play the cow opening and listen to video "polish dancing cow" you will really feel the opening to the fullest potential, thank me later
I invented an opening called the Ziggaraut. It's named after its pawn structure which is c3 d4 e4 and f3. The pieces go as follows the B stays c1. The Ns go to e2 and d2 and the other B goes to d3. The move order wasn't worked out. I tried it out and it is solid a f. But unfortunately it's really easy to blunder the B on d3 so the Ziggaraut doesn't quite work. But if anyone can solve that, this opening dominates the centre.
I love this! My new opening when playing anyone over 2400. LOL
let me show you the moo-ves she says HAHAHA
Cow Opening: Methane Reduction ._.ORCow Opening: MOO VariationORCow Opening: Mini
Looking forward to Harmonious Moo variation
anna is such a babe.
Hola Annita! acabo de usar hasta donde recordé de tu apertura, y gané la partida, por abandono de parte del otro jugador 😮 ! Me tocó las piezas blancas. Abrazos! Tu y tus videos son lo mejor!
How about The Cow-Nerd variation (for when you have developed your knowledge of the Cow strat so much that you can trap them in a corner)
Fantastic 🤠🐄
in honor of the Cow opening, surely the Knights should have the form of Cow heads.
8:16 I confirm ! I play the "Fred Opening" (probably the worst opening ever for Blacks) as ELO 1000 and I often win
Teach me. Doctor Strange voice
Because you are a cow
I’ll try it out against some bots.
You're awesome Anna 🙂
used the cow opening as black an actually won but it seemed like i was losing until the end
Please first research original Indian chess rules prior to appropriating basic concepts from there and calling it your own. Double pawn moves were not allowed. So this sing pawn moves were played for hundreds of years prior to "western" peoples interest in chess. SMH
Think of Eastern Texas. The blue bonnets and the sweet scent of steers> missing a horn on the right for black and the sweet cow eyes are white. Deep in the Heart of Texas. Anna cow open!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It is a luck of the sweet scent of East Texas. The cow is so awesome!!!!!!!!!
played the cow opening 6 times yet. lost 3 won 3. It did make for an interesting game everytime though. My guess is I dont have the skill to really do it justice.
Hi Anna , Hope you well. I am excited about you cows opening. Tried it blundered 3 times and still won, I will study it and yes using it in my games
To all that think this is a new opening I assure you look at Hikaru Nakamura‘s video. He explains that this is not new. He said this opening was invented in the 90s. It is a short video.
Tried it an won the first game by abandonment. My opponent must have been vegetarian.
it's crap opening, let's be clear about that. Hikaru totally destroyed it in 30s.
I love it. The first opening I've learnt 😂
You should write a book about this opening , its really cool 😬
Sometimes, the Cow Opening works, sometimes, it does not.
I would say it is more suited to play against lower rated players as opposed to higher rated players.
When I play against lower rated players with this opening, I always win, and when I play higher rated players with this opening, I always lose.
The Knights Templar Opening: Knight to F-3; Knight to C-3; pawn to D-3; Pawn to E-3… this builds a strategic wall too open with to strengthen your position in the center of the board. Depending on their opposing moves, would dictate your next move hereon.
I found that moving black Queen to h4 may disrupt this
Love watching, your instruction is great.
Could someone tell me why B-g5 is a good move (at 8:25) when black can respond with P-h8?
I dont play very much chess, but without knowing why i love the cow opening. Im going to start a chess career only to open allways with the cow. It must be imposible to loose with the cow by my side.
Anna what about calling the variation the spotted cow opening
Anna: "It's All a Moooo Point"
hehe, could be the move 😉
the minotaur defense
Que cara tan tremenda tienes en la portada del video 🤣 me hiciste reir
