The one thing Hikaru did with the Rd6 idea was choke Fabi’s Queen and render it ineffective – an idea he remembered from a Titled Tuesday game a couple years back! Legendary! Plus Hikaru beat Fabi last 3/3 in classical chess meetings

Your book arrived last week. So far I havn`t cracked it open. I bought the book to support you and your content. You gave me hours of enjoyment during the Covid lock down. little bit dissapointed that the match between anish and hans wasn't here, but still a great video. Hikaru fabiano was amazing, the idea of Re1 was insane, im not suprised hikaru missed it. Also, that fabiano was defending well, but that just his queen was blocked from the action, made it possible for a huge attack, and that leads to, not a checkmate, but a better end/middle game and it leads to a completely winning endgame, freaking amazilng
