Thanks a lot Levy. Really enjoyed these recaps.

Wooooooooooooow…. really happy for Gukesh… he is the one i prefer over the others😊

Gukesh got gifted the title contention by Alireza.

What a great candidates and a GREAT series of recaps ❤

I had my med school exams in morning and I stayed up all night to watch the match cover up and damnnnn it was all worth it.

Hey @GothamChess! First of all thank you for your Videos, i love all of them. I habe a question, I don‘t understand why Fabi did not played a4 check and take bishop at Minute 18:00 in the Video, can you explane me that please? I can’t see the Plan on queen c2. Thank you and keep up the good work!

You mentioned 133k live viewers. According to the commentary, after the women finished and it was just FabiNepo it was over 200k. Not bad, given that it was 4 am in India.

Up until 3am (GMT+1) to watch the INSANE game. It would be very funny if more often players are obliged to win.

throughout his entire career, where he trully needs to win, Yan always, always snaps. he trully is an outstanding chess player, but not of champions mentality. not even close.

Chess is getting very attractive when both players need to win… you get very very intense and emotional games (if the stakes are this high of course).

With regards to the womens tournement, i once saw you say that in a tournement an IM is obliged to accept a draw if a GM offeres one, as dictated by FIDE rules, did this apply to Vaishali and Nurgyul in this tournemnt?

I think Fabi hurt the most on the last day. He just so close on making it to the tie break. But…. It just doesn't happens.

Thank you, Levy, for all these recaps! It was so much fun to follow with your commentary. You make chess so much more enjoyable to watch. Have some rest! You deserve it as well! ♥

i rooted for ding but he is literally the worst champion ever.i wish gukesh wins the event

Fabi vs Nepo was really heart-breaking duel… However, The results of Gukesh ( in complete candidate tournament) was total Godlike.. So precision, it was incredible. Gukesh also defeated Magnus Carlsen in last chess olympiad. So, I must say that Gukesh is winner of candidates worthily. GG

What a tournament for indian chess fans and chess fans in general

What do I do now that the Candidates is over? This has been my "drink my coffee morning video" for 2 weeks. What a thrill this tournament was!

this was the first recap of your that I watched – and must say, it is AMAZING.
I may just go and watch the rest anyway!
Take care of your voice. and thank you for the interviews too!!

Might be one the best games of chess I've ever seen.

the two indian womens humy and voaishali made an such an amazing comeback being tie for second position they were once at the bottom bruh. Indians really made their country proud.

Why does the denominator say 13? It's 14 right?

Thank you so much for making this beautiful yet so complex game understandable for all of us ❤

The untold story is Abasov, since his draws against Hikaru (1 draw), Fabi (1) and Nepo (2) likely cost them a piece of the lead.
