I don't understand why in the world of chess you try to weasel your way into acting like you're a beginner when you're really an expert. That's like cheap in any sport. That's how you get an ass beating in real life, especially when money is involved. It's called hustling and only slime balls do it. But I guess that's normal in chess. That's why I'm not a fan of it.

He's really good considering he was reading How to Play Chess on WikiHow on his phone during the game.
I was pretty sure he was sandbagging on his first move, when he slid his pawn to e4 instead of picking it up and placing it the way beginners do. I was entirely sure as soon as he played Nd4. Beginners either use two hands to capture a piece or pick up the captured piece after letting go the capturing piece. He had, as you observed in a general sense, way too much practice moving the pieces to be only a couple of months playing.
Bad one. You should stop chatting about his rating and just focus on playing. Less chat content. Better chess content.

You could tell he was being deceitful when he first sat down, he wouldn’t make eye contact and was impolite! Trust your “Spidey Senses”. He has likely been playing for 2 years!
Decent player, but after Be3: he took on e6 instead of an easy win of a pawn with fe3:
Black can't capture on f5 after that because white takes on f5 followed by Qd5+ and the rook on a8 is lost.
Anna saw this the move before but her Be3: didnt help.
Now he also won a pawn but with bishops of opposite color it wasn't that easy (and he even blundered after that).
F5 was a dumb move, not needed at that time.
You cannot say, you play chess for fun, and you play competitively. You cannot say, you do not know your online rating.

Wow! First he sacrificed his rook (pretending it was a mistake) and then allowed his opponent to queen her pawn before delivering the final coup de grâce. Lies come so naturally to him that he injects his deceptions into his chess moves!
