    1. "Fabi and Hikaru are favourites"
    2. โ€œI cannot imagine Gukesh winning the Candidates. I can see him being anywhere from +2 to -5 (at the end of the tournament). I think he will certainly win at least a couple of games, but will have some fairly bad losses as well. I donโ€™t think he will do poorly, but I donโ€™t think he will do too well either. Heโ€™s not quite ready yet to make the leap. Itโ€™s more likely that he has a bad event.โ€

Hikaru, I'm heartbroken, but also super proud. You played an AMAZING tournament! And simultaneously delivered some incredible content AND infinite inspiration. ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿพ

Fantastic analysis Really Good Even after such long games expert analysis of himself and giving insights to mindset of top players is priceless…….

I am just confused about one move that is when you played Bb5, Gukesh played Ba3 to target your Rook…..now what if you'd have played Ra1, then there would be a double threat on him which are his Knight is pinned by your White square bishop and his Bishop is pinned by your Rook……please if you read this, I'd really appreciate if I get to know if my concern is right or am I missing something

What an amazing tournament Hikaru great to see you in Toronto

โคโคโคโคThose who wants to improve English, Must listen him

    Magnus: Gukesh will lose
    Gukesh: Hold my beer ๐Ÿบ

Hikaru we love you, You are the Best irrespective of what's the result ๐Ÿ’•โค๏ธ

Turns out Vidit was the main spoiler

Hikaru Good job you inspired all of us by not giving up โค

Hikaru you showed us never give up mentality whatever the result is. Legendโค

Congratulations on the candidates Hikaru! It was great to watch the whole tournament!

Absolutely insane comeback in the 2nd half, looking forward to streams again yayy

Thanks GM for all the great moments! I have no doubts you are one of the greatest chess players of all times!

Rooted so hard for you bro but no worries

Love you, You are still our favorite. A big fan from Egypt

Before the last game of the 2022 candidate, I said you were part of the top 5 in the world and arguably closer to #2 or #3. Some people that did not agree. Those people have been silenced.

Amazing games Hikaru ! Thank you for the coverage and the entertainment !!!

If Nakamura wasnโ€™t a YouTuber I am sure he would have been a world champion

Gukesh won the candidates. Hikaru won our heart. โค

Welcome back everyone to todayyyyyyyyys video โค

Keep rocking Hikaru, next candidates are yours

Thanks a lot for such an exciting tournament Hikaru, for playing so many interesting ideas in your games. Playing a gruelling clasical game in the day and recapping it all later whether the game went our way or not was so admirable to see how committed you are to the fans.

Wish you the best as always, Take tons of care buddy ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿปโค

Masive respect to Hikaru for playing, arguably, the biggest tournament of his life and still taking the time for his fans to explain his thought process with these recaps and providing us the content. You played amazing, man!!

I honestly felt a bit weirded out by d4, especially cuz Magnus came to stream and said that there are too many drawish lines in there and as we saw, it was a dead equal match the entire time…I'm a bit sad, really hoped Hikaru to win, but Gukesh deserved his position.

2 kings with no armies. Result: They became friends. ๐Ÿ™‚

GJ with Candidates mate better luck next year

Hikaru, you HAVE to go for it again next year. Imagine a world champion vlogging their way to victory! Literally one for the history books

You are the THE legend โคโคโค

Bro … big fan from india โคโคโค

What does India do that other countries don't to have such amount of top players? Population should be a major but not a single factor

Sooo if Ding gets shook and doesn't turn up…. does Hikaru play?

I am super-delighted with the result. Congratulations Gukesh on the pay-off of the work that you put in. And what's amazing is how young you are yet you are so modest and composed when you communicate. There are people more than twice your age that can learn from you! Very well done ๐Ÿ˜Š And yes, there's a saying that I thought of for this occasion, and it goes, He that walks a mile and returns home with nothing, is better than he that walks 25 miles also to return home with nothing! ๐Ÿ˜…Remove your crown Hikaru, and hand it over to Gukesh, a more respectable Candidate by far!

Ian defending vs Fabi and saying "I'm sorry" later reminded me of Michaels vs Flair at WM 24 ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐ŸคŒ

    Love from India๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ณโค

I used to be rated #9 in the World for Tetris.
I told my daughter I want to win, no question, and I'm going for the knockout every single game, yeah even against little kids.

But I'm still cheering for everyone. I want to see strong players, the rise of formidable adversaries, the continued evolution of the game I love.

Hikaru is a better living example than anyone else at this. He's here to watch Chess grow, either by leading it personally, or driving into the back of the guy leading it. ๐Ÿป Mad respect

    ๐Ÿ’—๐Ÿ’—๐Ÿ’—๐Ÿ’—๐Ÿ’—๐Ÿ’—๐Ÿ’—๐Ÿ’—๐Ÿ’—

Hikaru! Take off your crown ๐Ÿ‘‘, and hand it over to Gukesh โ€ฆ A more respectable Candidate by far.

Yet he returned home with nothing (except his wife) ๐Ÿ˜…
