Capablanca is a great shout for 3rd. Everything they wrote of him describes the single most gifted player in history. No fancy engine analysis, no great school of chess to learn under, just a pure intuitive genius.
Fischer is the greatest. Man invented a new format literally and also the present version of Blitz the time format. Best player is debatable but no tongue should say another player is greater
I think botvinik is somewhat overrated when talking about pure playing and not his school of chess. Man kept his title twice with draws lol. Also won it back due to automatic rematch and not because he earned rematches
Kramnik and Vishy are from the same generation and they both have similar records,same peak rating, their h2h is also balanced but Vishy became World Champion by defeating Kramnik. Their Classical career is pretty much inseparable from each other and Vishy was much better in faster time control so I don't see how Kramnik makes your list at 7th but Anand didn't even get a place in top-10.
