@14:00 i thougt this man said haki fight. lmao too much one piece on the brain.

wait.. help me out here, wasnt that a free rook for the bishop for Ding? (17:15) im asking why he didnt take when he was loosing btw

can someone show the mating sequence at the end there where it said M21 pls

GothamChess being sponsored by HSR gave me whiplash

LET’S FUCKING GO DING!!! Both guys nervous systems have failed once. Everybody cracks. Ding froze and Ian got nervous with the chance to take the chip. Ding with amazing queen counterplay that made Ian second guess everything. Amazing stuff

No matter how many sponsors levy gets…. E4 is officially the best sponsor (people who have watched several guess the elo will know what this means)

Now i dont feel so bad for throwing away so many winning positions. Im rooting for Ding but this one was hard to watch

Ding and Ian taking baka mitai very seriously

I literally felt myself watching low elo nooby games.

Just my opinion: neither Nepo nor Ding deserve the title. Magnus is somehow (still) the biggest winner in all of this.

Amazing recap. Thank you for not giving it away …. phenomenal job.

It took me a second to realize this was a world championship recap and not a how to lose at chess video

I'm rooting for Ding, but this accidental suicide was not the way I hoped he get a W..

at "White's king is safer? (bizarre animal noises)" I stopped the video and gave you a thumbs up

I'm bad at chess sitting between 400 and 500 elo, but this looks like one of my games.

This is a perfect YT title because it's not a spoiler since either player winning would be huge at this point.

I can explain the move orders…they are both GM's, they both know all the traditional move orders and counters for those move orders. So the only way to win is to do move orders that the other has never seen.. Even if they look like blunders it will take the game so far out of traditional moves, that the opponent won't know the counter moves to win.

guess the elo – world championships edition?

Gotham chess yells way too much. Im gonna stop watching you and watch actual Grandmaster Daniel Naroditsky, goodbye gotham.

1st of people who watched the vid before commenting

Literally the whole chat was like Gotham's Gonna flip

    that was clutch!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

why are there so many boxing references i dont get it

Not gonna lie, it's a little goofy that a chess YouTuber is recommending an anime game. But I support it lol.

I wanted Ding to win so i’m really happy with this

I love these ufc analogies in the middle of the video

I am a Ding supporter but felt soooo bad for Ian , even Ding was checking on him. He was beating himself up. Chess is so cruel

It was weird to see the players blunder so spectacularly in the World Championship. Poor Ian…

Ok, sure, this is one hell of a show. A show. Not a World Championship. It’s entertaining, dramatic, unpredictable and very confusing. Playing like this, both players would have been annihilated by Carlsen. Probably Anand too.

That was freaking amazing. First time I watched a live broadcast of a championship match game to the end.

    This championship is nuts.
Loving the boxing and mma references

Everytime gotham sponsors a game he promotes chess
