Ian is currently competing under the neutral Fide flag, so I really think we ought not to say that he is "of Russia". While it's certainly his nationality, should he win, Russia's claim (as a nation) to the WCC will be very tenuous. It's almost like saying that Alireza is Iranian or Levon is Armenian; maybe true when referring to them in general, but (IMO) an "inaccuracy" when referring to them in a chess context.

I think adding rapport in the team was a good decision from king Ding.Ding is a stable player but rapport is a dynamic and tactical player like Nepo himself. It adds the extra sause Ding needed. Lets see how Nepo reacts after a loss this time. Nepo is a great player but in this match he was trying to be a over-genious.
