Well, this interview showed what political science Hikaru would be like

Interesting, only an IQ of 102. That's very average.

I believe hikaru is in top 3 best chess player of all time

Hikaru net worth is around 49 million dollar

Hope he becomes a world champion before he retires. 😊

He played so much blitz that he blitz out his questions.

"I did not actually finish" Hikaru sounds like my wife!

Hikaru saying Shin-sukey instead of shins-kay made me cringe so hard lol.

A lot of people need to read up on their chess history if they believe Nakamura is top 10 all time.

No offense to him, he's a great chess player.

Unless of course, he believes that since he's Number 3 in the rating list of the strongest generation then he is top 10 all time.

He held for his life not to add 2. Ke2 after saying he prefers to start with 1. e4

I could have looked up all these questions on google and gotten the same answers lol

What about can he speak Japanese? I hope he answered this.

I want to see him as world champion one day.

Funny that he calls the metric system a "European standard" when it's really the global standard. 😂

Hikaru’s IQ is about 111 because he is always number one.

    Takes, takes, takes, takes, takes…❤❤❤❤❤

Thanks Hikaru for this gem! I did learn a lot 🙂

Only top 15? Hmmmm….. Hikaru's being overly humble with that answer.

Besides being an extraordinary chess player, Hikaru truly deserves kudos for popularizing chess and embracing all its weird memes and quirks in its online era

Of course, online IQ tests are BS.
The average IQ of a population (Specifically north american) is 100 if using the popular WAIS-IV testing battery.
His IQ is probably not 109 exactly, but it's most likely around 100 just because most people are around 100.

i did not expect these "pressing" questions at all. i thought he was about to talk about mathematical "probabilities", if you know what i mean 🙂

I wanna see Hikaru in WWE and Shinsuke playing chess.

Still waiting hand&brain nakamura vs firouzja brothers 😅

Naka is not top 10 or 15 of all time, even when not adjusted by inflation

Hikaru considers himself top 10-15 players OF ALL TIME!!
Let's say we go for top 15, who are the 14 first and who is ranked after him????? It's for this kind of statement that he got hated on in the past.
here is a list just to get an idea, it's not my pick and it's not in some kind of order, but it's to illustrate a bit, i'll put magnus first though:

    1. magnus
    2. kasparov
    3. fischer
    4. capablanca
    5. caruana
    6. karpov
    7. nepo
    8. anand
    9. alekhine
    10. ding
    11. Prag
    12. botvinnik
    13. smyslov
    14. euwe

Of course if we compare accuracy, naka has the engines to help him these days etc but he said of all time, therefore that cannot be taken into account and what is, is the dominance to the other players of these eras. naka is not dominant in his era so he can't possibly makes a Top X where X is basically the number of different world champ so far at least top 17. And then you have to factor in players of his era who haven't been WC. take players like giri, mvl, aronian, even firou now, is naka really better than them (even blitz/rapid)? I put prag in there, is naka really better than prag? I don't think so, he just played chess for longer. Is naka dominating wesley so? meh. In classical he is one of the best of his generation, that's for sure, but in term of all time he cannot possibly be top 15!

As a scandinavian im claiming hikaru so we actually have the two most prominent chess players from scandinavia 😁

love Hikaru but there's no way he's in the top 10-15 of all time…

Be brave and do some format with HANS NIEMAN… It s parcondicio tho
