2 second time increments over the board is rough, wish it was more like 5-10 seconds, that game was ruined because of it although it was still an amazing game none the less.

This was an awesome display of their strengths . Magnus showed that he can bamboozle his opponents even when he has a lost position but Hikaru countered by showing he could flag anyone including Magnus in an equal position .

Fantastic game. Iโve tried to watch some of the classical matches but two hours on the clock is a snooze fest. The future of chess is the time pressure.
It's always in Hikaru's head. Every single time. He will never beat Magnus until he doesn't know he's playing Magnus.

What a game! Watched it without enginebar or commentators.
Magnus got completly outplayed in the opening but then made it as hard as it could be for hikaru. Traps to spot and hard moves to find everywhere. But Hikaru did an insane job solving every riddle while also advancing forwards, move by move. Just a few accurate moves more and hikaru would have done it. but then he blunders and magnus got in an endgame, wich looks like its a draw but you also know, if black isnt carefull and atleast some precise, he could easly lose. And the only one who can win there is white. But a few moves later, Magnus ran out of time.
Just insane.
