I really appreciate you saying “you just played poorly, it doesn’t mean you’re an idiot”etc. Some games I play very well and the game review says I’m a beast, and other games I make horrible blunders and hang my queen, which is a very sad and discouraging thing. as a 1400 in rapid, I kind of struggle to progress with 1000s in blitz. pretty sure it’s just a time thing but I can’t help to wonder if blitz oriented players are just better.

I'm a 649 rated player, as I noticed that the second game actually shows how lame my strategies are, but most of the time the 700's fell for my chess game
