This is great instructional stuff, more please 😁

Challenge: Win against Martin without loosing a piece.

    I’m 450-ish elo
    I’m pretty bad at chess

Just wanna congratulate the FIVE HUNDRED ELO playing an IM at an elo of 1800. If you see this, know that you are awesome! Way to step your game up! So proud of you!

Dude I promise you 500's don't play that dumb. It's rough out here man 😭😭😭

Seeing the 500 elo videos where they play terribly and than seeing this video had me thinking they play to make it to the gotham video

i’m 1300 and i’d never block my bishop in a black mar deemer gambit

I was shouting at Gotham to play e5 and Qe4 and just slaughter the 1900 😂

1:50 I'm 500 and play that all the time.
Were better than you think sometimes

OGs would know this was called "The Best Chess Tip…"

Thank u so much⚘🙋‍♂️this so helpful and amazing

After watching this video i lost but almost drew against my 1200 rated friend. I'm 1750 elo

Hey Levy, genuine question for you, what is your advise for someone who understands the basics of chess, understands the three principles but faces non opening responses? I feel like I fall short or get confused when it comes to middle game because I am mostly responding to my opponents moves and I can’t decide if I continue with opening theory or just respond with how to capitalize on my opponent’s bad positioning? Thanks for all your dedication to making chess content my wife and I love watching your videos

    If the 500 was playing 1500 elo chess then I as a 800 am a 1800

I feel like playing chess while talking out loud about the moves helps you to avoid making mistakes

im 1900 in blitz and i play the 4 knights bc its the only opening i learned back then lol. dont know if thats bad now or not

Soooooooo, the secret is "don't play too slow and not too passively."

People don't realize that there is a lot of good players at 500 for some reason.

Thanks Levy, I've been watching your videos and I went from 250 ELO to 320 ELO in 4 months!

I want to play a chess game with you Gothamchess

I think if you do this again, you should do rapid games. 500s in blitz are better than 500s in rapid

Love this type of educational content. Correct me if I’m wrong though, but isn’t this just a shortened version of your How to win at Chess series?

Levy on twitch and levy on youtube are 2 different people bruh

I started watching Hikaru and that got me into chess. Then after struggling awhile I finally heard of Chessbrah's channel and it's been as instructional as Gothamchess.

Great concept I’m around 1700 and it really helps

Just letting you know, I like the concept and would watch more of this series

I had so much game where the game review said im 1100+ elo… (more than 15 move) rn my elo is 700

Bruh i had a game today with no mistakes, every single move was good. (btw i played the london)

Pls Levy bring back Noob Arena that was so cool to watch❤❤❤

That was a great showing from BuriedCorpses. Great game!

Nice video, I really like how you gave opportunities to the respective Elos. So much content on YT is high rated players pretty much obliterating low elos in speedruns, which is also instructive, it’s very nice to see equivalent-ish play while still explaining winning tactics, and how to recover after missing said tactic.

This was really good seeing the different levels back to back.

I used to not know anything about chess I was at a level where I had no idea what an opening was and by watching these videos after a little while I learned principals and how to actually play chess and I am currently making my way towards a thousand Elo.

I just want to say thank you to Gotham for teaching me all these things.

I love how Levy is legitimately respectful of these opponents. His enthusiasm when the lower-rated opponents find a good move is so great to see!
