The explaining has helped me with the AI I normally play against, but AI is rough for me, it's way more knowledgeable and plays many moves ahead.

Love it keep talking, gives the opponent time to see they are screwed lol.

I'd like to see the Caro-Kann playing with black

I have learnt a lot from your videos. Your explanations are amazing ❀

Honestly the biggest takeaway i always have looking at you play chess is keeping it simple. I always go like oh there must be some tactic after this move, or this plan is great so lets just go for it and im getting in some very complicated positions and end up making mistakes. I noticed you always make moves that lead you into the plans instead of planning to make moves if you understand what i mean. And somehow that makes it so you get into way easier positions than i always end up in.

at 5:26 when deciding where to move the queen, wasn't bishop to b5 a move and then queen to a4?

Can we see the Scandinavian? Particularly interested in when opponent pushes the pawn rather than takes

It must be irritating as hell to get this average joe as an opponent who takes ages to make every move…πŸ˜€

Nelson, love the camouflage: AVERAGE JOE πŸ˜‚. That's why they all come out with the queen to mate your ass .

10:45min. Qe4, threatening the rook and the bishop looks like a good tactic to me. πŸ˜‰

Hi Nelson, could you please show me a couple of openings – the Halasz McDonnell Gambit and the Caro Kann. Thanks so much!

You are not talking too much! Your explanation of each game piece by piece is super helpful. And I love it when you get down to 1:00 or less and then say "I'm going to have to speed up a bit now" and then find a checkmate in four or five moves that you make in less than 11 seconds!

i love this series thank you for really breaking down each move how you do it’s helping me tremendously!

Do not speed up please. Learning how to reason through the moves is how I learn. I can go to any channel and see someone school a beginner quickly with no explanation.

8:09 Ne5, such a nice move and still threatens mate. Protected and threatens Nxf7# or alternatively a bunch of other nasty moves…
