Can't the king move towards the pawn beforehand?

We want more of these 30 second chess lessons…please Levy, make more…on openings too..

thank you for teaching chess lesson, but i need practice this theory, its called practical

It's perfectly fine to push as long as it's one block away from the King.

Can you explain why an a or h pawn wouldnt be able to just move forward with the king as well?

Oh come on right after the same goddamn situation my game ended up with a stalemate and this is the first video i see

I didn't know there is a name to that strat. I just do it cause I'm like an overprotective parent to my passing Pawn.

so basically be an overprotective parent. Got it.

This is the kind of chess advice I can digest.

What if the black king doesn't move to the left or right, what if he moves back?

U can do it more easily. Just go straight, first with queen, second with pawn. Thrn repeat it.

And what of the king moves all the way over to H

And what if the black king doesn't move back but foreward?

wtfff u can transform soldier into queen💀😭 idk shit about chess im gona learn npw

Why can't the enemy king eat your pawn at the end?

Thanks for the wonderfull lesson but I want to ask you that isn't it spoonfeeding!! We should have learn these types of moves by thinking ourself,I think it would make our brain more sharper:)

Oh thank you. You know becoming good at chess was always one thing that I wanted to do but that I never really necessarily dedicate myself 100% of the time to do I mean I used to go to chess club but I was never very good

What happens if the opposing king doesn’t face the lawn again?

the reason the black king doesn't draw blood at the end is because if he did he'd be in striking distance of your king, which would be check and you can't end a turn with king in check or you lose

I think it is good to mention that you give the opponent move when you create opposition

How are you not coach of world champion? 🤔

Jeremy Silman teaches this differently: only move your pawn when it's in danger. Basically the goal is to put the king to e7 or c7 while keeping the pawn safe.

Ok but what happens if the opponent king moves toward the pawn after the flank?

That's bs tho. You dont need to do it like that at all. You made it more complicated that it is.

Bro like just keep the king close to the pawn boom you win

Yo what is the name of this chess app

I could just move the black king down one and you are screwed

When king moved to E8, can someone explain why you wouldn’t play C7 immediately?

It looks to me like if you push the pawn and don’t move the king at that stage you can force promotion.

Now you got a Queen, now you gonna win…. I like that 😅😊
