Vlad knows soooooo much about cheating at chess, it would make sense if he himself is a cheater
I feel/think Kramnik's argument was not presented correctly and fully here. I would highly recommend everyone to read his blog posts if possible. A lot of what he is saying is correct.
Kramnik shaming those players was probably uncalled for and not needed. I dont agree with that.
However what Kramnik said about Chesscom's anti cheating method is correct. It is obvious that there is blatant cheating on the site. And Chesscom just wants to sweep it under the rug and censor Kramnik or any other person speaking the truth. Dont make your mind up from my comments or gothams video. Read his blogs and you will see what he is saying.
I love Levy and his content, but did he even present what Vladimir Kramnik's argument was ? I dont think so.
I think your wise not to give a platform to someone who just has a bone to pick, and who is being vindictive, insulting, belittling in his language because it’s antithetical to your voice

I Yo-yo my rating between 900-1100. (I make poor choices. Sue me.) It feels like every other player is cheating at around 1000 rating. The amount of points I get refunded somewhat supports that claim.

I honestly think the biggest reason for you to invite Kramnik is to properly give him more space to talk about what his opinions, etc. As he said there is a lot of misinformation. Of course is your channel and at the end of the day you're the one to decide.

i actually reported his account a couple weeks ago i think asking them to mute his account or disallow access to his blog due to his disrespect and self-embarrassment funnily enough. In my head im thinkin they looked at my report with a big ol smile and said yup, lets do it. Glad they took action.

Cheating is rampant in every other online game. Why should chess be any different?
Maybe soon all the top level games will just be Stockfish vs. Stockfish, and we can move on with our lives.

How do they decide if someone is cheating? If a new player makes it up the ranks, and earns the right to play Hikaru or Magnus, is the new player allowed to defeat H or M? If he(she) does, is he(she) cheating?
Or, is the whole thing about consistency? ELO2000 should beat ELO1700, and lose to ELO2500. And improvement should be a progression.

The issue isn't putting cheating on the global radar. Their posts of their worry and questions about the calculations are valid. But the posting of names is just bad. I am sure that if they'd send a mail to the entities exactly explaining who they think is cheating and on which mathematical basis this accusation lies, I'm sure they will pick it up. But you gotta put in the leg work. You gotta give proof.
De-escalation is key now. Cheating is not the end of Chess, but all the involved money esp. via sports bets.

can anyone of you statistic and mathematic pros proof in numbers/calculations that kramnik is wrong?
Playing online is very different from playing your opponent face to face. Its easier to play relaxed and creative online when you sit in your own home and are in your comfort zone. A lot of young players are not very used to social settings because they are living most of their lives online. Thats why they often fall through in face to face games.
One thing is for sure is media and companies manipulates everything for money. So, he invites him and listening to his side would be amazing and fair, even if you don’t agree with what his says.

Kramnik has really gone off the deep end. It's not his desired outcome so it has to be wrong method instead of him being wrong. Clear narcissistic behavior.

Holy hell, Erdogmus is cracked. Number 2 on the prodigy rank and I think his elo is heavily underweighted. Accusing him of cheating without real evidence is pretty fucked.
