The rollercoaster quality of this game was worthy of guess the elo.
Ding is amazing. Playing to win, trying new lines, basically doing interesting things on the chessboard. Win or lose, he is the MVP in this WCC.

With how unpredictable this match has been, I just think it goes to show how powerful Magnus is
wasn't Ra2 just a waste of one tempo? couldn't white go Rd1 instead of Rd2 later? no pieces block it, i see no threats to Rd1 or advantages to Rd2. Am I the only one that's confused?

I was rooting for Ding but when I saw he gave hia Bishop at the end to get a draw not supporting him anymore bro the whole game was so interesting but when I saw that move and heard levu said that they agreed to a draw couldn't care less

So that is two winning positions in a row that wind up as a loss and a draw for Liren.
Sometimes chess is determined by brilliancies. Sometimes by mistakes. Here we have both in the same game. Again.😅😅
At no point watching most of this game was anyone thinking 'this looks drawish'.

On move 24 (when they were repeating moves) why didn’t ding take the queen, forcing ian’s rook on d8 to capture on h8, then ding make a queen forcing the rook on h8 to take and ding’s rook on d2 would take making ding up a whole rook
