dont think you can call it a leak really, but a bizarre thing, that someone was following along and found out.

Man it's hard watching Ding get so damn close these last couple of games. This was such a gangster opening/midgame plan of attack too. He really said fuck them pawns lol.

really boring WC knowing that magnus would have beaten both of them

Ding is just like that autistic genius in movies who fucks up but everyone still knows he is the best

Ding lacks situational awareness which is also an important aspect of any sport. Like in the previous game, he played h4 which was not a bad move but considering his time situation not called for. Also, he under estimated his position, he had 0.6-0.7 advantage till the move he froze & turns a promising position into a loss. Actually, if he had gone for even less concrete moves & made a draw in game 7 no one would have complaint given match situation. In game 8, Nepo took Ding's psychological aspect into account. He played a lost position by throwing his moves fast & forcing Ding to move at his pace instead of finding killer moves by taking some time. Yes, he made many blunders but even his blunder played on Ding's fear!

Carlsen would win the match even if his advantage is 0.5

You're so over-the-top with your exaggerated comic expressions. How anyone could take you channel seriously is beyond me.

    ✍bluff as crazy when desperate✍

    Ding is inting….. 2 dominant games, I loss and 1 draw….

when he says one of the most dramatic twists ever in championship history, before knowing what happens, I'm expecting Magnus to come in with a steel chair and wipe out both players and reclaim his championship.

you look like a 19th century magician in this thumbnail

I've been watching all the games live this year, it's at a suitable time for Australians.

Enjoying the roller coaster Anish gives us live considering he has hours to fill haha

I wonder if Fischer would have made errors like this?

Qh4 wasn't a bluff, was just a mistake. Nepo only realized it doesn't work after he made the move. But it worked anyway because Ding made the same mistake. They both kind of played themselves.
Also, Ding making move 40 with only second on the clock…

How very sad to see greatness unrealized……

finally the thumbnail represents my game analysis

Lmao I was already thinking how we are all such nerds freaking out at a new move being played but then the person that found Ding's prep accounts is at a different level. I feel so bad for Ding his hardwork is out in the open. I hope things still somehow work out for him though.

I know we have all seen the "pin of shame" comment before but as someone who enjoys your energy, I find it sad that you won't put the world championship contenders on the thumbnail of the video or the event in the name. Please start putting more effort into a video you are proud of rather than compete in the mad dash to post a recap first.

Are we not gonna talk abt they have play 16 hours of chess

Bro the idea behind rook a2 in the opening makes it look like a Shogi opening

Ian and Ding are really going after each other.

Is anybody gonna point out that one of the constant is dingly ren?

Hats off to Levy.. Only guy that can transmit this kind of energy and passion for a chess match draw

This game belongs in guess the elo not the world chess championship ain’t no way Magnus blundered anything like that….I mean what we get is nice but it ain’t the best chess on the planet. It’s so sad how ding is outplaying him and loses on time man crazy. Still rooting for ding tho. Let’s hope we see tiebreaks

Im adding that Ra2 lift to my play…that is just super useful….

Ding Liren doesnt deserve to be WCC. The guy cant keep his nerves and is literally an embarassment to his country at this point. What a joke

I've never seen something like at the level of 2800 rated GMs in a World Championship match. Black blunders away a Rook, but then White blunders by not capturing the free Rook. This is stuff I'd expect from kids learning chess.

I love the passion you have for chess. Its amazing to see somebody passionate about something, doing it for a living.

It doesn´t matter who wins the championship, because there will always be the Magnus factor

I mean the matches are exciting and all but I prefer used opportunities rather than chaos. I think the gamequality of Magnus in this championship whould have been much better. In this match the eval bar basicly just bunnyhopped… .Exciting match though

If Ding had found either of the wins, this might have gone down as one of the best world championship games ever.

I am a long time subscriber. This video doesn't show up in my subscriptions page. I had to manually find this video by going to the GothamChess channel. The video was uploaded 7 hours ago.

Im subscribing to everyone who subs to me says:

This thumbnail reminds me of akinator when he cant guess

anyone else miss magnus right now? Magnus would've caught the bluff.😂😂😂😂

Idk I was rooting for ding liren, but squandering 2 winning positions against moves that seem almost forced in an opening you choose is wild to me. And seeing a rook sacrifice and not calculating out whether the perpetual check was actually perpetual seems insane.
