Whoa I did not see this coming at all, many HIkaru videos have disrespected the London. At the beginning of this one, my hope is that he will Hikaru-ize the opening, transforming it into a powerful weapon for beginner and intermediate players. It's of course very sound reasoning to discourage people from being too dependent on "system" openings, we need to outgrow them eventually. On the other hand, we also need to preserve any good ideas from trying for these positions. Just started playing chess a few months ago at the age of 27. Watching both you and Levy has helped my game tremendously in just a short amount of time. Not sure if you and Levy still do sub battles but those are a great watch.

You don't need to force this sunny attitude, we like you how you are. Love the idea of the content, but you're just too darn good at chess, got to slow down sometimes when you're going through lines. Asking if the audience can see the move and going over some wrong answers is a great idea

I noticed that when playing hxg3 instead of fxg3. It makes is considerably harder to your opponent to mate you in many positions i've encountered.
