I guess I don’t understand why everyone gets so offended by the “milking.” These guys are streaming obviously for views and $$ while helping grow and bring attention to the games. More chess content, the better, IMO.
These were fun Hikaru I looked forward to them each morning thanks for doing them!
Levy scored 2.5/3 against GM's in this event, and that includes 2 games with black. Gained 25+ ELO as well. Obviously not the outcome that he wanted, but all things considered, I think he did very well.
Also worth pointing out that he was 4/5 to start, then 1.5/4 to finish, so I guess stamina was probably also a factor after a long time away from otb chess. Tough tournament, playing 9 classical games in 6 days, including 4 morning games and 3 doubles.

I accidentally achieve positions like Levy in the opening of this game all the time, then throw it away entirely because idk what to do and am bad at chess.
If someone can talk about raising yourself up after some heartbreaking losses is Hikaru. Great to see Levy battling it out and Hikaru doing these recaps showing how cool they’re not just as Chess players but as friends.
Feels like hikaru is just doing the intro like that intentionally just to irritate that guy😂😂

honestly before the start of the tournament, I would have been happy for him to score a 4.5/9, but instead he got close to even scoring a norm? that's phenomenal
