if I was the editor I'd extend the silent stare at the start by 0.5 sec per video

I don't know if it is made on purpose but every time he says Big Black… C… enter. I always hope in a lapsus (which you probably call slip-up?) 😅.

6:00 love that he played the game out. Obviously saw what was coming but was a good sport

Uh oh spaghetti time 😂 I thought it was Spaghetti’Os

It would be interesting to see you and Magnus playing "The Cow" together. I think you would probably win.

Why does it feel so wrong when Hikaru counts by one two three four instead of uno dos tres cuatro

    bro thinks hes gotham chess💀💀💀💀

    Hikaru: Magnus is perfection
Me as a Magnus fan: Hikaru is eqaully a perfection, hats off.
    Best wishes in SCC🎉

Aren't we over rating Titled Tuesday? Prestigious?

Magnus is great at end games but he's also great at getting there and simplifying

Why the hell am i watching this, i don't even understand chess

MasterClass tysm, even better anylysed than the last

You guys barely human…don't ever lie to me like that ever again. Y'all have a chess computer in your brains that is off the charts for a regular human.

All this talk about computer moves got me thinking. It's a new skill that separates GMs from Super-GMs: Knowing what to look for, what to expect and what the opponent will most likely calculate. There will be lines that, for a computer, are losing, but might succeed because a human opponent would not consider it in his calculations and/or would spent huge amounts of extra time if he does. It's probably what Tal did back in the day before computers were good: Creating situations that are uncommon and where the natural looking move is the one move that loses. In many of his games he started attacks that would be defendable by computers but he could bet on humans not being able to find the correct answers within the given time limits. In other words he played suboptimal moves that became superior by acknowledging the human factor.

Hikaru, I NEED more bongcloud speed run

And one more thing, no more caffeine ever again

Your eyes will probably get better, and you will become a much better player

I’ve been wanting companies like pepsico and coca cola to stop adding caffeine additives to their drinks

Think of it as a foreign object

And one more thing, no more caffeine ever again

I’ve been wanting companies like pepsico and coca cola to stop adding caffeine additives to their drinks. It doesn’t belong there and never has.

    Sneaky

    It has hurt peoples lives

Think of it as a foreign object

He didn’t move the d pawn once

    This was your game hikaru

Keep pushing! And don’t give up!

Maybe you could train with him and split the prize money

Russia was smart to team against Bobby Fischer

You should do a speedrun to 3k with only Levy's openings to help him become a GM

I really like how your recaps always include really tactical sequences that go on for several moves, but also really simple one-move tactics such as the knight moving so the rook protects the pawn; both are explained really clearly and it makes the recaps really easy to follow.

One move "not really human"…..The battle is ever Magnus vs Hikaru!!

Can someone tell Hikaru that fianchetto is pronounced fianketto not fiancheeto? It's like fingernails on a chalkboard

the 2 best players to ever play the beautiful game of chess. Magnus n Hikaru. Just amazing.

The stare at the beginning and "welcome back everyone" gets me every time 😹

Being light years far from understandinng his chess, I fill I can understand how positive is Hikaru's human approach in communication. Great.

aah " in the end im jst human hits too hard

What about giving up the rook for white to avoid the check mate?

Andreikin was a good sport for not resigning but hans was disrespectful for doing the same?

once again hikaru builds his BIG BLACK CENTER

The less time there is, the more goat-like Hikaru is

Ugh im sorry to say but imagine federer or nadal making recap videos about novak. this is sad to see

Thank you Hikaru for do the "Todaayyyy's video" we missed it

"We all wish Magnus the best. Or do we?" Vsauce music starts playing

That "most prestigious online blitz tournament" was brutal 😂
