"He gets into your head, but in a good way"–said no chess player ever.

This reminds me a lot of Hunter x Hunter when the Chairman asked all of the participants who they least would like to fight haha

What happened to Levy, gotham chess the great

Iโ€™m starting to realize Hikaru may be a narcissist

Let me tell my humble opinion why Ding does so bad against Hikaru: itโ€™s because both players has the same basic characteristic. Ding is a tactical monster in right position, can smell check mate from a very far away position that even other Super Grandmaster has no idea why he played it until they cheat using engine or the position he envision on the board. But Ding himself said that only that is not enough to be world champion, so he tried to cover his weakness and play solid chess and forced himself to think in defensive term.

On the other hand Nakamura does not inhibit himself with that concern and try to reach agressive and confusing position even when it might be suspect defensively, which Magnus exploit, and he has much harder time to do the same against Ding.

So when Nakamura goes against Ding they often drift towards position where Nakamura would feel more at home.

Wesley So is the Iron Nail, Hikaru is the Rock, Ding is the Paper and Magnus Carlsen is the Storm, an anomaly in the chess game.

Notice how Hikaru is the only one blatantly disrespecting another player when answering this question

โ€œ To confuse your opponent, you must first confuse yourself โ€œ ~ Levon Aronian / Sun Tzu

I'm confused by the interviewer's eyebrows, like is there or not?

    No need for braces

Just be crooked, no one cares

Of course Hikaru would say who confuses him the least. Legend, ๐Ÿง™โ€โ™‚๏ธ๐Ÿช„

"To confuse the enemy you must confuse yourself first."
    -Levon

Ye Ding Or Hikaru mile hue h ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

no black chess grand master but they decided to have a black dude as a host, I see what they are trying to do here. lol

    Magnus don't confuse other players.

Because, other players are so sure about,
    Least winning probability against Magnus.

You are correct I am wrong because I say says:

Hikaru: on paper he's too good but in real not so much

Ding, Nakamura and Carlsen all have the same nose.

I swear aronian is such a banter. So many GMs have stagged immortals against him.

    ๐“จ๐“ฝ_ ๐“ฅ๐“ฎ๐“ต๐“ธ๐“ฌ๐“ฒ๐“ฝ๐”‚ says:

    Also Magnus : it's the 23 years old me๐Ÿ˜…

Knowing one of the greats like Levon also doesn't understand why he gets into some positions is very reassuring ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

Not being mean it's just for the memes: Va-chier, Maxime Vachier-Lagrave.

Magnus seems to describe Ding Li Ren as if he is a teenage prodigy and not a world champion.

this is interesting, naka beat ding, ding beat magnus, magnus beat naka ( beat in the sense they choose which confuses him a lot)

Ding and Nakamura mentioning each other is just heartwarming.

I like Magnus Ding Hikari more than rock paper scissors ๐Ÿ˜Š

Everyone has their opinion. Chess speaks for itself. I am only here for our boy, Maggie.

Magnus find ding difficult and he is a world champion now

I thought that Carlsen would have said Duda. Especially considerring the rating difference.

There's always an Asian better than you out there

    To confuse others,
    first confuse yourself
    – Levon

The fact that Ding defeated Hikaru to qualify in WCC and won shows that Magnus was correct and Hikaru sounds arrogant here.

no one get confused by magnus because everyone know he's a wizard himself.

Hikaru really said "how come you're this weak"

The undisputed Championship it's coming next๐Ÿ†โ™Ÿ๏ธ

Surprised Magnus didn't accuse Ding of cheating
