Checkmate as a concept is threatening to capture the king while there is no move to prevent it, so why not make it so that you actually capture the king to win? And while we’re at it, make it non mandatory to respond to checks, if the opponent misses it it’s like seeing an army at your doorstep and sending your troops to some other country, let them capture the king.
I agree
I agree I think you should be able to take the king
CHESS is not GAY GAME no kings touch. GOOD.
In my last tournament my oponent also touched my king 😀 i wanted to take his king so bad
Levy wildin
And in this position "He Sacrificed The GAAAAAAAAAMMEEEEEE."
If it’s that much of a blunder I think yes you should be able to capture the king
Damn sometimes I use to do illegal moves and my king used to get caputerd my brothers said it was rule
the real king's gambit
The real King's gambit
Chatgpt: Now, we sacrifice the Kinggggg!
I used to play chess like that where you capture the king to win before I knew about checkmate
Yes we can take the king i agree
"The kings can touch" 💀🤨📸
Yeah if you blunder your king you should just lose
When I played chess when I was younger me and my friends would always take the king
literally the only thing checks and checkmate add to the game is stalemate which is hated by most players who encounter it. if the objective of the game was to simply capture the game it's go the exact same except for 1 extra turn of capturing the king and stalemates not being a thing
Duck chess, let's go!
No because then you are checking the king but he is also checking your king. You can’t move your piece into check
Levy in 2050: AND HE SACRIFICED…..THE KINGGGGGGGG
there is an app called 2 player game and there is alot of games and chess too and there if you dont see a check then ooponent can take your king you cant play with anyone who is not next to you bc you have to play it on the same phone sadly
Apparently kings can touch
Kings after hearing that 😏
Should've captured the king
Hey gotham no hate but everyone makes mistakes under time pressure.
I disagree, because then double checks would be too op
They should do it so if your kings in check you can move a piece to pin the piece checking you against the king
Chess has updated.
This will take approximately 14638 GB
Do you want to update when there is wifi?
In my advanced chess app i have as a kid, you can expose your king and move pinned pieces, and the opponent can take king or leave it if they didnt realize..
The real king's gambit
Capturing the king should be a rule, it adds a new level of fun
The FIDE finally accepts the gay community
King en passant
Imagine promoting to a king
Don’t look at comments pfp 💀
"hey yo tf"
-Hikaru
thats a mate in 1 for hikaru
Hikaru being like🤨🤨
That's where chat gpt got it's techniques from
holy shit how many bots in the comments LMAO
If I was hikaru in that position I would literally just take the king with my king and raise my hand for a handshake
if Your king is a bitch…😂😂😂
I think you should be able to take the king if even if it isn't checkmate.
I always found it odd that if you’re clueless and make an illegal move, your opponent is obligated to point it out and let you fix it. If you leave any other piece hanging, your opponent is allowed to pounce on that, but not the king?
Also stalemates being a draw is BS. In other games similar to chess, stalemate-like positions count as wins, and stalemates generally only happen when one opponent is playing significantly better than the other. Is it really fair to call the game a draw because the better player made one bad move when their opponent made like 5 bad moves?
And before anyone is like “oh you must be a beginner to think that way”, I’ve been playing chess for 15 years and these are things that still bug me
He sacrificed THE KIIIIIIIIIIINNNNNNNNNNG!
300
This video is so old
"Confuse yourself before you confuse the enemy" 😂😂😂
Hikaru: what the heck?
I personally think that If you don't have any pieces you lose
