What if Keymer left the king on g8 on move 25 and moved the rook instead? I'm not saying he'd have won, but it seemed like the white pawn could have provided black with a bit of shelter while he tried to get back on his feet.
By now it looks like 50-70% of the analysed games here are Carlsen-games. Obviously he is without doubt the best player in the world and each game of him is deeply fascinating, so from that perspective it is worthwile. However, there are so much more interesting chess games, both in the past as current. It becomes a bit boring. Instead of a chess platform it starts to look like a MC-platform now.

I used to play the Najdorf in the 70s and 80s and the Bc4 move was known as Fischer's back then. Magnus' handling of it was different though and he made it look very easy (but then he does that). Think I read somewhere that it is (or at least once was) the most analysed opening (probably before engines). Great fun to play, on either side.

And it was in this tournament, from round 2, that Magnus Carlsen turned on beast mode for losing to MVL, as there is nothing more to be done here.
Regarding video's title "No one will play again…" Are there games that really caused the "extinction" of a line? Maybe you can do a specific search in the database and make a compilation of the "most influencing matches in chess history".
