Man oh man our champ is in super form already. 😂

Even Maxim who is an expert in Sicilian, is often crushed by Magnus. It's his world championship opening. He knows all the lines

    The novelty is 12. Nf5!!

    Ibadov,D (2391) – Bernadskiy,V (2553) [B90]

Vladimir Dvorkovich Open Aktobe KAZ (8.9), 26.06.2023

Is there a ‘live’ version of this game somewhere? I couldn’t find it anywhere

Nic (J Bruce Feynman Niccolo P. Bentulan) says:

2nd : Vincent Keymer BASELESSLY blacklisted Hans Niemann in 2022Oct for corrupt sexist QUISLING overlords Magnus Carlsen & Garry Kasparov who had cheated 2 Jewish fellow-European women Judit Polgar (1994)
& Alexandra Kosteniuk (2009) then gets gifted a win in the 2023 world cup, so what's the moral lesson other than that crime does pay (or torts do pay) ?

    XNHWbgAsZnA

The only player Magnus might be less disinterested in playing against is Magnus from a parallel universe.

Agadmator: No one will ever play the Najdorf again
MVL: Are you sure about that?

You cant mixing lines with the Sicilian. I'm quite disappointed the way keymer play the sicilian. Play the sozin main line, why mixing it up with the anti English line ufffff 😮‍💨

B4! Of course. What else did you expect?

    Died laughing.

Its actually so fking crazy that the rating disparity between number 1 and 2 is larger then number 2 and number 23 in fide rankings. The world champion title really does seem so meaningless when its clear that no one is really even close to magnus in terms of classical chess.

Im not sure which Norwegian told you the "sh" pronunciation was wrong, as it definitely depends on where in Norway you are. Sure, the word "spill" on its own is always without "sh" sound, but when put together like in "offerspill" it's not uncommon (in fact I would say it's more common, certainly for people in eastern Norway (where most of the population is)) that the pronunciation becomes "offershpill" as that is less awkward to say and rolls off the tongue easier (even for a Norwegian :p ). Then if you go to western Norway (Bergen etc), they pronounce the "R" differently (closer to the French way of saying it, ie at the back of the throat) so it's more natural to say "offerspill" without the "sh" sound there. So it depends on where in Norway you are, and saying it with a "sh" sound is definitely not incorrect at least

Magnus is going to stay on top forever. Rightly said Agad

No One Will Play this Najdorf Ever Again! Not sure it breaks the opening.

In the hypothetical ending (10:21) after Rh5 check , QxR, NxQ, KxN. Two rooks against a queen might hold a draw?

Wasn't this game in Round 5 instead of Round 4 said by agadmator??

It always feels good when he mentions tal…..the GREAT.

Yet again another example of a game where the player defeated never touched one of the rooks. The queen's side rook never even got a chance to be a passive defender by default. Vincent may as well have removed the rook before the game began.

Keymer gonna cancel his BDSM domina session this week.

This reminds me of old games on Commodore 64 I played. For the first couple of levels, you could slack off, but then when you got to later levels, you start playing your A game.

It s quite amazing to see how the best in the world of chess are mostly spread out along the original 'Silk Road', from China and India through central Asia and east Europe, with few contenders from Western Europe apart from Magnus, and nothing from the Anglophone world. Quite a change from a century ago.

Magnus beats up on the plebes and all the boot lickers come out 😂

When the knight goes to g4 it is not defended. So why cannot take the queen the knight?

It's nothing to do with the Najdorf and more to do with Keymer's mistake early on. MC hasn't refuted the Najdorf!

Tired of seeing Carlsen's face in this channel!
    Ps: Unsubscribed

When he says "completely new game" does he mean only among GMs? According to lichess Masters DB, the position after move 9 has been reached 16 times, including Anand in 1986 (although he was <2500 at the time)

6:55 – "objectively it is a lost game" for black. How come? Black got 3 pieces for the queen, black threatens to pick up c3 pawn, black got nothing hanging, black can develop a knight to D7 kinda with tempo – attacking that nice dark square bishop on b6 – and later on black can bring another knight to c5 to stop white's c pawn(s). Black king is safely castled and got intact pawn structure. So, it'd be great to know why, exactly, it is objectively winning for white – 'cause objectively it may be, but "obviously" it is not quite. 🙂

Amazing play by Magnus. When I saw Keymer was to play him I knew it would be tough, but Magnus cut through him like butter and picked up his toast.

Magnus seems to be stabilising after an ominous slide into the 2830s. Fide can look forward to retaining its diminished importance.

"29 moves is enough for any man" really made me laugh!

There over 100 games with the move 9…Qc7 in the Chessbase Megadatabase 2023. There is no way that it is a new move. The first new move is Nf5. Ibadov 2391 v Bernadskiy 2553 played 12.Qxg4 at the Aktobe Dvorkovich Open in June 2023.

This was one of the most stressful chess game if ever witnessed .Thanks for sharing

Sozin lives and claims another victim. Fischer's weapon reborn.

Isn’t that Black Knight just hanging for the white Queen to take ??

A game like this deserves a 20 min vid in my humble opinion

9:30 Are you really telling me that after a passive knight move if you put a supercomputer against Magnus in that position, it would resign ? If youre willing to play that sort of game until that point against Magnus, why bother to begin with ? Maybe play it out, let him earn it ?

Magnus is right when he said i don't have rivals
