The FIDE Grand Swiss and Women’s Grand Swiss 2023 are being held at Isle of Man from 25th October to 5th November.
Both tournaments are part of the qualifications for the World Championship cycle, with the top 2 players in the open event qualifying for the 2024 Candidates Tournament and the top two players in the Women’s Grand Swiss qualifying for the 2024 Women’s Candidates. #FIDEGrandSwiss

Aliteza has a lot on his plate. His English is very good. It’s one, he has to spend time on it. Next, he has to learn French. It’s two. He has to do fashion for living. It’s three. Not surprisingly he slowed down. Hopefully, he will recover soon and become the world champion!

All women's games are past move 40 but they still switch from a contender for GAME of the YEAR that is in a critical phase before move 40 to analyse women's games and then they miss the key moments where Sevian missed a win and there were incredible tactics in every move and return 16 minutes later, absurd.Can you imagine if it was the other way around and the Sevian game was a women's game? Houska wouldn't have even thought about switching. Disgraceful behaviour and tremendous disrespect to the players from the official commentators.
