The nine Tour players are joined by a wildcard (pairings below) for a classical round robin. If either scenario fails to produce a winner, the remaining tied players will have an armageddon knockout (White shall have 5 minutes and Black shall have 4 minutes, with a 2 second increment from move 61.)
As a fabi fan for the last 10 years I have to say he is one of the most frustrating players to watch. He will be winning and then just throws out of nowhere lol.

GCT should learn from Tata Steel on how to break a 4-way tie, you can't just randomly assign 2 players with 2 white games while the other 2 players get just 1 white game in tiebreaks (5/6 games were won by white) . A semifinal in kockout format with two pairing where players play with both colors (and armageddon in case of tie) is much better than whatever this was.
They shouldn't involve Rapid format in Classical matches.

Absolutely disappointing this is the first time i am seeing a chess tournament and the way they resolve their tiebreaker was not right. Clearly giving advantage to senior players by giving them 2 whites is absurd. Will never watch this event again waste of seeing this thing. How do players agree with this its not fair to make them play like this. They should clearly arrange another day for a tiebreaker. Making them play on the same day is going to strain the players more and then with the unqual tiebreaker it must be frustrating. I guess pragg got the short end of this whole tiebreaker he had to play with 2 consecutive blacks too.
At minute 5:54 Rapirila threatens Anastasiya first by simulating a gun and then with his fist .
I like Miro bus analysis but when he is just blurting out the evaluation it describe the tension or the position on the board

Finally this tournament is over…So many draws(82%) and boring play..Some players have 100 procent draws??????
Hearing the engine guy saying "it's just a draw" after every suggestion yasser makes is a bit annoying.
Better to say "a human would have to find x to stay on the drawing line". Because it's not "just a draw". It's only a draw if the humans play like machines.

Not having both armmagedon games on the screen together was total fail.
It seems that Caruana decided not to follow the script in the game against Firouzja; That's why at minute 7:38:28 Rapirila says "but this one was very adventurous" and later threatens him at minute 7:39:11 with the word "over", at minute 7:39:42 with the word " loss" and at 7:40:30 simulating a gun with his hand.
