Nooo, canon is a bad name. A canon piece would be stationary, but could kill pieces from range without moving into their spot. It could only shoot in a straight line, but you can use your turn to rotate the cannon so it will shoot diagonally.
All in all this one needs another name. Maybe somethink bird like, since its flying around so much.
