Beautiful Beautiful match!! Ding pressured Ian the whole time but ended up losing because of the time pressure lol amazing from both gentlemans.

    THE ROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOK

The only person I can actually enjoy watching commentate chess game <3

someones gotta stop Levy from making those cringy thumbnails like omg bro ..

Ding was winning man but speed of ian comes handy 😮😅

Watching ding in the final minutes of his clock was heart wrenching, he just absolutely froze and was lost for any move. Glad there is a recovery day tomorrow.

I was literally crying when ding resigned i almost had a heart attack

Congrats Levy! That’s such a huge accomplishment!

    Spoiler

Ian's strategy if putting time pressure on Ding finally paid off. I'm impressed!

Levy already premoved the video before the match was over.

The only sports commentator I watch religiously. Got a Gotham Knights hoodie and I’ll be picking up the book too 🎉

The play by play coverage is so good one can compare it to a high level striking match where we’re discussing how the players’ POTENTIAL attacks don’t come to fruition due to the insane foresight of their opponent. Gotta love when levy covers deep lines to uncover possibilities within each position.

What I don`t understand is – Ding thought for 3.5 minutes before sacrificing a pawn. But then froze after Nepo took it. Like what? Don`t you calculate what happens when opponent takes a pawn you offered?

ian planned this all the way through, holy this is like watching death note

The funny thing is that I was there for the whole thing when it went live, and I was going CRAZY (I was in class at the end too LMAO)

Very sad for Ding. He should've won with unlimited time but it seems he can't handle the pressure. It's understandable why Magnus didn't want to put himself under the same pressure.

I just finished the live stream and this video has been posted for 25 min?!

Levy talking about his tournaments when no one asked

Dude.. what is even the cyan thing and ur lying there's brilliant moves… U don't even show them…

Watched the match and it was phenomenal! Ding really gives me a heart attack!

Please remember to enable captions for your hard of hearing viewers ❤

Hey Levy, i recently tried ChatGPT and i told it that you and him made a text based match in the past but because his knowledge cut off on september, he doesnt knows you played with him. You cant believe how much i tried to make him believe
anyways you are right, its broken on chess

C'mon Ding! Get your shit together! You can do it

We came for the recap. Not more self promotions we don't care about. Pathetic.

I hope Ding bounces back from today's game. Otherwise the match is over psychologically.

Crazy how Gotham disguises an advertisement of his book as a recap for the wcc and then calls himself the goat.

I am from Belgium so i am gonna be sad that ill never meet levy 🥲

Anish giri was like "oh i have my delivery at the dor"

quality of wc games are decreasing man. such blunders are not expected when stakes are highest. come back magnus😢

Yeah. Visit my chess club in Bavaria Germany xD

And it was in this position that Levy answered the phone to speak to the delivery man

6:00 For the record the last time the french was played at a world championship was 1978 (Karpov V Korchnoi)

I guess there are some games that break the top guys when they get to the edge of the world championship. Happened to Ian last year too 😢 but let's see how ding responds

I know it leaves a bad taste in everyone's mouth everytime Magnus gets mentioned on a tournament he isn't playing at, but this game just goes to show how far the gap is between Magnus and all the others.

From a FIDE World Chess Championship where the first 5 games were almost perfect in an engines point of view where a tiebreaker was only possible after breaking the record for the most moves played in a world championship match to one where there are already 3-4 games decided by the players lack of control of their nerves in the first 7 games.

Hey Gotham! , just yesterday I bought your "50 Middle Games Master Class" and I just wanted to ask: How much progress should I make into the course every day? Or is that for me to decide?

Does its say something that looking at the comments section and finding out the result of the match does nothing to make to stop watching the video
