I saw the following 2 lines,
    1st: 1. Qe5+, Kd8 2. Rf8+, Rxf8 3. Rxf8+, Qe8 4. Qg5# … this line could also go like 2. Rf8+, Qe8 3. Qg5# and there are a few more variations of this… the next line I found is:
    1. Qh5+, Qg6 2. Rxg6… quite obvious but let’s say they don’t take and they make any other move except d6, then Rg8# (2x Check). If it goes 2. Rxg6, d6 3. Rg7+, Kd8 4. Qg5+, Ke8 5. Qe7#…

I really like the Rg8# though, if the right moves by black allowed it to happen

    1. Qh5+ , Kd8 ..2. Rf8+ , Rh8 x Rf8..3. Rf1 x Rf8+ , Qe8..4. Qh5 x Qe8 # checkmate…is it right? thanks for video on traps GM Igor! More power and more winning!

So, I solved the puzzle that he gave us at the end of the video, and this is how it goes. WHTE- Qh5+, Rf8+, Rxf8+, BLACK- Kd8, Rxf8, Qe8. Now white can either capture the Queen with the Rook and it's Checkmate, or white can capture the Queen with the Queen and it's Checkmate.

After kings gambit accepted black plays knight b6

Qh5 (His king is forced to d8) Rf8 (his rook is forced to f8) Rf8 and now it’s checkmate.
If he moves Qe8 to block Rf8, Qe8 and now it’s checkmate.

White Rook moves f8 ch!, black rook × f8, and white knight × c7 mate

Make all variations of king's gambit checkmate video

This is the best opening have ever played. None of my opponents has played this pawn stuff, but i can Control the Center and have tons of move options. Great stuff 😊

what if they just take your queen with the rook intead of the horse

If black does not accept the gambit but check with queen?

Nice I always use this trick. It is a good trick
    Thank you

This looks EXTREMELY complicated – especially for players under 2000

    1. White queen move to h5
    2. Black king move to d8
    3. f6 white rook move to f8
    4. h8 black rook move to f8
    5. f1 white rook move to f8 and check mate

Final position knight c7 if king moves to d8 rook to c6 checkmate. If king moves to e7 after Knight moves c7 rook moves h6 checkmate

Regarding the 4th trap when the queen was sacrificed I think that was too risky. When blacks queen came out thus forking the piece an experienced player would see that & simply wouldn't make that move.

3 minutes in…. Pawn to D3. … Pawn takes night. The problem is defused. …. Look at it…

White rook to f8 check. Black rook moves to f8, thus killing the white rook. White knight moves to c7 is checkmate.

In the first one when he gets a new queen the Queen can get out ,& is poss for his queen to prevent the checkmate

I have been trying your opening, kings gambit, I am getting crushed, I have lost 55 points in ratiing
It hurts I just seem to fall,

I'm don't really play kings gambit because it's an aggresive opening and also exposing the king early. But with these traps maybe I will try playing KG😆

Rf8+ ,rook takes, then Nc7++, wish I could see this stuff in my own games

2 reasons why I watch your vids:

    1. to improve my chess gameplay
    2. to watch your cat at the background

Won a match by forking a queen, advance lvl player was in a mess

what if instead of knight f6 he plays rook h4 CHECK?

What do you do if they go bh4 instead of nf6 in the first trap

I don't think that trap for white is good enough in the first game u showed us because black can capture the white's queen with the rook instead of his horse and that will be a winning position for black

The winning move is Nxc7. If Kd8, then you play Rf4 discovered check, winning the queen. If Ke7 you do the exact same thing and white is 100% winning

In first trap i have question what should i do after i open the diagonal in bishop and he/she Threatened my horse at E5

    QG6+ KD8
    RF8+ RXF8
    RXF8+ QE8
    RXE9#

    or

    QG6+ KD8
    RF8+ QE8
    QXE8#

For trap 1, how about if black play kc6 instead of qh4?

Ans ;Queen to h5 givibg a check to the king /- only way to refrain from the check is to go to d8:next pushing RG8 then1) Rook captures rook then move Rg8 check..then black Qe8t hen white Qg5

Thank you GM. My elo up 100 when i use this trap 🎉. But now when my elo 1300 very hard to use this trap again 😂
