Lol just started the video, and im around 1000, probably would be about 1200-1300 if i wasnt multitasking my chess games and taking them mote seriously rather. And i saw that move at 3:30 instantly, just from the fact that I do goofy moves like that all the time out of cockyness.

Any tips on how to get better at blitz? My Elo in 30 min (or longer) games are about 1500, in 10 min it drops to about 800-1000 at 5 min (or shorter) I'm down to 400-600. To play my best games I need about 2-3 min for every move I make, I wish to learn how to think faster 🙂

Forgive me if I'm missing something obvious, but the move C4 looks very strong to me at 2:23 as an 850 elo player. It seems like a nice pawn push for control, and it could lead to opening the queen side in the future.

oh, very curious about this vid, as 1300 to 1500 player not being able to hold it longer than a day – i would say a good step for me would be not watching videos in another window and playing raid in between the moves and therefor loosing on time and learning at least 1 opening would be a good step for me, or not playing just when i am bored and sleepless and loosing 200 points a night in between every now and then… but lets see…

At 23:34 does the tactic bxc3 work? If pawn takes, it damages the structure and he can't castle queen side. If queen takes, kxe4 and both queens are hanging. So in the end it wins a pawn or damages the structure, right? Am I missing something?
Edit: And at 26:07, same idea. ke4 either damages the structure or wins a bishop. Right? It also forces a queen trade and damaging the structure because it prevents qg3, defending the bishop, and qh3 just results in a triple fork on f2.
