I am new to chess with maybe ~50 games played out. having just learned to castle and take a pawn in passing. 1100 rating. so I'm just curious how good you find the move that I see.

i was playing my brother (over 200 rating above me) who really loves the london, i tried to psych him out by pretending to watch a how to beat the london video before we played and it worked, he didnt play it and i won 3/3 games we played. i have no idea what to do against the london.
Finally some instructive content instead of f* dramas and clickbaits. Hope for new beginning…
Basically just learn openings and stay calm.

I've been playing chess for 40 years but I am not a good player (only play a few times a year on average lol). So forgive me if what I say now seems stupid or rude, its not the intention… anyway… Is it not "cheating" a little bit if you are playing ranked games and have some engine telling you what the best moves are? (even playing non-ranked, unless the opponent is aware and doesn't mind). Not trying to be nasty, but I watch quite a few videos of different people and it always seems like they have some machine telling them about best moves, and win% chance etc.
Levy I love you but this was useless really.. But again there are not much useful videos out there for 1200-1300-1400 level players because really all we need to do is learn our openings (books), learn to evaluate positions (Levy has actually helped A LOT in that regard), spot tactics and stop blundering so much (puzzles and lots of games)..
ok so at 45:23 , couldnt white have moved bishop to C6 to force the trade from the knight on A7 thus forcing the pawn on C7 to stay locked and causing havoc with rook and pawn trades on the queen side. On top of that wouldnt this disrupt black by trapping the rook on E8 since it cant move to any position unless the queen moves first but with white having open space to move their rook on F1 to any rank on 1 providing defense and offense with the queen doing the same thing? not sure if im typing this correctly but i feel there is a wild idea there; would love to levy to weigh in on this or any really high level player cuz im curios to see it some to pass

1:15:35 in the hypothetical, it’s blacks turn and white is hanging a free rook at this point. Also would be interesting to hear commentary on whites strategy at 1:07:13 if Nxd5, then Qxd5 check with potential to get knight back or take a third pawn at b7 while also guarding g2. Thanks!

at 8:54 is it a good idea to let the rook capture the pawn then attack it with one of our rooks. He is then forced to trade and move his bishop away, giving us more space
