Very instructive video. When I am playing its different, I tend focus on a strategy and forget that I have to keep an eye on the entire board. Usually end up missing a pin

Been watching Gotham for almost 2 and a half years now, he’s helped me from about 400 elo up to around 1700 in rapid chess
Im unable to defeat 1500 bot for 3 days already 🙁 i guess im hooked with chess.
What got me from 1200 to 1500 is looking for tactics / plans my opponent has.

At 15:20 , I think the best way for White to hold for a draw is g5!. After 1.g5! e4! (1….exf4?? 2.gxf6 f3 3.f7 f2 4.f8=Q and Black loses) 2.gxf6 e3 3.g7 e2 4.g8=Q e1=Q White has a good chances to draw due to Black's exposed king. Therefore, the simplest way to win before e5?? for me is h5!

Not a fan of your style normally (feels over-the top, but I get it's for YT engagement), but clicked this in my feed. I love you walking through the thought process and keeping in mind what players at lower levels are likely to see, and how to proceed with that level of vision. One of the bigger positives of this approach is you have multiple instructive moments each game rather than winning at the first sign of a winning tactic. Nice video.
