Seems like both Ding and Nepo should have taken a rest after the World Championship.

#suggestion the game between Pranesh M vs Xu Yi from the pro chess league (yogis vs tigers – round 3) its an awesome game! 🙂 and thanks for all the videos so far

it's obvious that Ian and Ding are just exhausted. I wouldn't look too deeply into their performances in this tournament

Was Magnus right about what? Alireza being worth another WC for him?

Such a shame that Alireza couldn't keep the intensity in the Candidates like he did in the Grand Prix. Yes there were fireworks between Ding and Nepo, but it never felt like an actual title battle because we knew they weren't actually the strongest. Note that I actually like Ding, but let's be real. Magnus vs Alireza is what everyone was looking for. Would be funny to see a reverse situation where Alireza is the next WC and Magnus challenges him for the title.

The World Chess Championship was grueling. Both Nepo and Ding are gassed.

#suggestion hello Antonio! I'm from Argentina. I've been following you for a couple of years and love your videos. I would like you to review some game from argentinean prodigy Faustino Oro. He beats GMs constantly in titled tuesday and recently became the youngest player ever to achieve the title of FIDE Master. Thank you for reading and have an excellent rest of your day!

    Unbelievable….
I really found that move….but the continuation….I don’t know if I had managed it.? But it took only about a minute to find the move where you asked…

Great game, thank you for the review 😀

at 10:08 if 1.. Re6 then 2. Qc8+ with Qxe6! and the king and pawn endgame is won for white, because black has to forfeit the f6 square and thus the g6 square and the h6 pawn

0:19 The chuckle before mentioning the new World Champion 😉

Ding vs Nepo was the worst WCC ever
A lot of blunders from both sides
This never happened before this way

It shows how those guys just memorize a lot of stuff and even after taking the advantage they blunder

Anybody else having problems making his videos full screen? It’s only him

really it is not fair to tournament after championship
both are tired Nepo and Ding

Chess really is one of those games where you will always lose after playing f6 unless it’s the best move 🙁

Tired after 14 games? In former times many more games were played during WC-matches and they didn't have rest days on every 3rd day. Tiredness is no excuse at all.

The rook didn't have to leave the 6th rank (yet). What happens in the end is that white has to give the queen for rook and f-pawn, get and zugzwang black away from the h6 pawn.

And this is the problem of FIDE. A mediocre world champion and runners-up. Terrible. Get Magnus back, even on his terms. The future of chess isn't those classical chess matches anyway, they belong in the past

That kramnik coaching really excelled alirezas game

@suggestion The match between Xu Yi and Pranhesh M from The Pro Chess Legue was really exciting to watch, really nice agessive sacrifices

Why doesn't Magnus play in this tournament?

Magnus is always right… (about chess related stuff)

Both ding and nepo gave up their queen to the prince of chess.

Magnus was not right. All talks are cheap. Champions are decided by playing the game. One other things people forgot is how exhausted Nepo and Ding was after those 2 weeks of brutal chess. Even the most fearsome warriors can be defeated when they are exhausted and worn out.

That was the best ending I’ve ever seen (created within my lifetime) Magnus was correct.

    Woooow! Alireza slaaaktade honom 😂😭

Alireza is such an amazing chess player: he is very much among the creme de la creme of the super-grandmasters!

One Love, One Family! Abundant Joy & Celebration! says:

    Lol at nepo and liren😂

People always say the Colle is passive and boring but every single time I see it used the middle game is always crazy and exciting. Love the Colle.

Nepo can become the world champ by improving his Initiative Skilles and Combinational poweress. But Moreover, it is Initiative which Makes a player More Worthy.

Guess first move of the agadmator opening!

It gets into my nerves that is obvious that the lines are from the computer but it is not mentioned . Else Agadmator is a 3000 ELo player

5:20 – "Find the winning move, while i give you a few seconds (to win the game for Alireza, and quickly learn why HE is one of the BEST, and will prob one day be our NEXT WORLD CHAMP) "
THIS game (and so many other reasons) is what makes watching Antonio great at explaining chess. He has such good story telling ability, basic / fundamental knowledge of chess strategy, and well versed in chess history.

(Antonio doesn't need the letters GM or IM front of his name to be able to explain chess and provide creative and imaginative ways to describe the action in each game. that skill and talent is what makes watching Agadmator every day, a tremendous joy to watch! )

Was Magnus right ?! I dont know if you dont tell us AGA what Magnus said, how could i tell? NOT everybody lives on social media like you seem to be doing.

I just googled him and saw he was 19 years old?? He a top 8 grandmaster at 19

Nepo and Ding are both tired. They need a vacation.

Let’s be honest: Dark chocolate commit crimes disproportionately. Having said that we should focus on the chess. But than again it’s a matter of time when Americans will bomb Alirezas place so enjoying brilliant chess will be limited as well… but let’s see

GM used minutes to find the move and you are giving us a couple of seconds

I hear too many excuses. What did Hans Nieman say, "Chess speaks for itself!" I agree with Hans.

Nepo and Ding shouldn't have played this tournament. Hikaru and Adbusatarov shouldve played. Then this would have been amazing.

This guy agadmator is greedy dude…. Seems like he wanna b a millionaire 😅
