Karjakin took part in the Moscow Marathon

Sergey Karjakin planned to run a distance of 10 kilometers, but was injured.

“I participated in the 10 km distance, ran with my wife. I have a small injury, so I retired at the sixth or seventh kilometer. This is not a competition where you have to compete through pain.

Overall I ran with pleasure. I finished, and my wife ran on. I am not ashamed of my performance at the marathon, our family won. Losing to your wife in time is a whole art,” said Karjakin.
